What we believe
While Tres Dias explores classic evangelical Christian beliefs, Tres Dias is an inter-denominational retreat that concentrates on the person of Jesus Christ and His teachings.
Our statement of faith
Below is a summary of the core beliefs held by Southern Ontario Tres Dias organization and its community.

—2 Timothy 3:16-17All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Godopen
We believe and profess that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God; that forgiveness of sins is received through confession and repentance, and that our sins are washed away through the blood of Jesus Christ.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.“
–Romans 3:23“Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.‘“
—Acts 2:38“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.“
–1 John 1:9Salvation is a gift of God’s grace received through personal faith in Jesus Christopen
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;”
–Ephesians 2:8The Body of Christ is to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spiritopen
“Being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
—Ephesians 4:3“for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;”
—Ephesians 4:12God’s unconditional love is the primary witness by which people are renewed, edified and changedopen
Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away.
—1 Corinthians 13:8God has called us to live holy lives that will bring glory to His nameopen
So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”
—Colossians 3:12-17
